Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the industry or academia, particularly in computer vision and machine learning. Your programming skills in C++ are strong, and you have a solid foundation in computer vision principles. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with designers and software development teams to create impactful technologies. You are passionate about developing algorithms that resonate with users and enhance their experiences with Apple products.

You possess a deep understanding of real-time and low-power world tracking, sensor calibration, and technologies such as VIO and SLAM. Your experience includes contributing to projects that leverage machine learning solutions, and you are eager to take your skills to the next level in a research and development setting. You are a proactive communicator, able to support external teams that utilize your algorithms and advocate for high-quality results within your team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and developing computer vision algorithms that have applications in augmented reality and device localization. You will collaborate with a unique research and development team, contributing to core technology algorithm development that supports future user experiences. Your work will involve participating in code reviews and ensuring that the algorithms you develop are not just technical demos but resonate with users on a personal level.

You will work closely with Apple's best-in-class designers to ensure that the products you help create are meaningful and influential.
