Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience working with Spark and other distributed data technologies such as Hadoop, Presto, Flink, and Druid for building efficient and large-scale data pipelines. Your proficiency in at least one programming language, whether it be Java, Python, or Scala, is exceptional, allowing you to tackle complex data challenges effectively.

Your deep expertise in Data Principles and your strong data intuition enable you to continuously improve the ways data is utilized to enhance the security of Apple’s products, applications, and platforms. You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about crafting secure systems that protect customer data.

What you'll do

As a Senior Data Engineer at Apple, you will play a crucial role in the Apple Services Engineering Security team. You will be responsible for building and integrating security controls, guardrails, and frameworks that help protect customer data across Apple’s infrastructure. Your work will involve addressing various security challenges in Software Supply Chain, Security Posture, and Risk Management.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standard of security for Apple’s services, including iCloud, iTunes, Siri, App Store, and Maps. Your contributions will directly impact the security posture of one of the most-watched companies in the world, making your role both significant and rewarding.
