You are a seasoned SerDes Robustness Analysis & Validation Architect with a strong technical foundation and a hands-on approach. With over 10 years of relevant industry experience, you possess a deep understanding of SerDes design and validation principles, SOC/system integration, and real-world system environments. Your analytical mindset drives you to uncover weaknesses in design assumptions and stress-to-fail conditions, ensuring robust performance in high-speed SerDes PHYs.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with design, architecture, and system teams to ensure that the IP is designed with testability in mind. Your ability to partner with validation teams allows you to optimize for maximum test coverage versus execution time, ensuring efficient yet thorough validation processes. You are inherently curious and motivated to push designs to their limits through intentional stress testing and margin-finding techniques.

What you'll do

In this hands-on lab role, you will architect validation strategies that go beyond traditional spec-checking. You will focus on uncovering weaknesses in design assumptions and system interactions across wide-ranging PVT and real-world scenarios, including edge case behaviors. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with designers, architects, system, and test engineers to validate next-generation SerDes IPs from design conception through production.

You will lead efforts to drive the robustness, performance, and margin validation of high-speed SerDes PHYs, such as PCIe and USB. Your work will involve stress testing and analyzing system interactions to ensure that designs meet rigorous performance standards. You will also be responsible for documenting validation strategies and results, providing insights that will inform future design iterations.
