Who you are
You have a strong background in electrical engineering, particularly in RFIC design and validation β your experience includes working with wireless transceivers and understanding the complexities of RF systems. You are familiar with embedded systems and have hands-on experience with DSP, which allows you to effectively contribute to the development of advanced wireless SoC products.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams β your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly helps bridge the gap between engineering and product management. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for ensuring that products meet rigorous performance standards.
Your technical expertise spans both hardware and software domains, enabling you to tackle challenges across the entire product lifecycle β from pre-silicon emulation to mass production, you understand the critical steps necessary for successful productization. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and are skilled in debugging and system characterization.
Desirable
Experience with automated testing and validation processes would be a plus β you are comfortable using various testing tools and methodologies to ensure product reliability. Familiarity with industry standards for RF performance is also beneficial, as it allows you to contribute to compliance efforts effectively.
What you'll do
As an RFIC Validation and Characterization Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for the testing and validation of RF SOC IP β your role will involve conducting hands-on bench testing and debugging to ensure that our wireless SoCs meet performance targets. You will collaborate with the RFIC design team to deliver end-to-end RF integration solutions, playing a key role in the product lifecycle.
You will conduct final silicon validation and ensure compliance with rigorous standards β your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of Appleβs wireless connectivity solutions. You will also engage in innovative development, contributing to the design of transceivers that power Appleβs wearable products.
Your responsibilities will include performing measurements and characterizations of RF systems, analyzing data to identify trends and issues, and providing feedback to the design team β your insights will help drive improvements in product design and functionality. You will also participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss project progress and align on goals.
