Who you are
You have over 10 years of relevant industry experience in embedded firmware development, showcasing a strong background in crafting and implementing firmware for System on Chip (SoC) designs. Your expertise in C and assembly languages, along with familiarity with ARM CPUs, positions you as a key contributor to the Wireless Connectivity Silicon team at Apple.
Your experience includes working with low-level hardware interfaces, register and interrupt programming, and bare-metal software development. You thrive in collaborative environments, ensuring the quality of firmware for manufacturability while interacting with cross-functional teams.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be at the center of a silicon design group, responsible for the critical task of getting functional wireless products to hundreds of millions of customers. You will craft and implement embedded firmware for SoC bring-up and wireless connectivity enablement, ensuring seamless integration with hardware components.
You will work closely with software engineering teams to validate and enhance the quality of firmware, focusing on driver implementation and developing protocol stacks. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience, driving innovation in wireless technologies.
