Who you are
You have a strong background in verification methodologies and experience working with emulation platforms — your expertise in Linux and programming languages like Python, C, and C++ allows you to develop and apply synthesizable monitors and checkers effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality functional products. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills enable you to prepare and complete detailed emulation test plans, ensuring thorough reviews with multi-functional teams.
You are passionate about technology and innovation, and you understand the critical role that verification plays in the chip design process. You have experience with large System on Chips (SoCs) and are familiar with the challenges involved in bringing them up on emulation platforms. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly makes you a valuable team member.
What you'll do
As an Emulation Verification Engineer at Apple, you will be at the center of a chip design effort, collaborating with Architecture, Design, and Software teams to bring up large SoCs on the Palladium platform. You will develop and apply synthesizable monitors and checkers, as well as stimulus on the emulation platform. Your role will involve preparing and completing detailed emulation test plans, performing reviews with multi-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of the design are thoroughly verified.
You will work closely with various teams, including Silicon Validation and Power, to ensure that the emulation environment meets the necessary requirements for verification. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the quality and functionality of Apple's hardware products, helping to deliver extraordinary customer experiences. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and share your knowledge of verification methodologies and best practices.
