With at least 2 years of experience managing software engineering talent, you are adept at hiring, mentoring, and leading diverse teams. You understand the importance of user experience and privacy, and you are committed to creating intuitive and respectful interfaces.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with design, machine learning, and privacy engineering teams. Your technical expertise allows you to balance innovation with user-centric design, ensuring that the products you develop are not only functional but also enhance user agency. What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the UI team responsible for defining and building personalized Apple Intelligence experiences. You will work across various departments within Apple to design and implement user experiences that are intuitive and transparent. Your responsibilities will include coding alongside your team, building prototypes, and shipping features that align with best practices for personalized experiences. You will establish frameworks and components that seamlessly integrate Apple Intelligence into products, ensuring that they adapt to users' needs while maintaining transparency about their functionality.

You will mentor your team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Your leadership will guide the team in balancing technical innovation with thoughtful user experience, ensuring that the products developed are not only cutting-edge but also user-friendly. You will also be involved in defining the vision for the UI team, setting goals, and measuring success through user feedback and engagement metrics.
