What you'll do

As the engineering leader for FoundationDB, you will own the vision and roadmap for this core component of the iCloud platform — your leadership will guide the design and implementation of high-performance distributed database systems that ensure data availability and recovery. You will collaborate closely with exceptional engineers to tackle some of the hardest problems in distributed computing, shaping the future of data infrastructure.

You will also play a key role in building and fostering an inclusive open source community around FoundationDB — your efforts will engage a global ecosystem of contributors and adopters, ensuring the project's success and sustainability. Your ability to communicate effectively and inspire your team will be crucial as you lead the development of technologies that impact billions of users globally.
