Who you are

You are an analytical finance professional with a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. With over 2 years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally with a focus on financial planning and analysis (FPA), you possess strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Your excellent oral and written communication abilities enable you to present insights clearly to senior management. You thrive in cross-functional environments, partnering effectively with regional and global teams to develop and execute business strategies.

Your problem-solving skills are robust, allowing you to analyze data at both macro and micro levels. You have experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI, which you use to prepare key commodity forecasts and conduct gross margin analysis. Your background includes reconciling and analyzing supply chain data, ensuring accuracy and alignment with contract manufacturer and supplier data.

Desirable

Experience in a fast-paced corporate environment is a plus, as is familiarity with the Apple supply chain. You are comfortable working with large datasets and can identify opportunities for cost savings through detailed analysis of spend and key performance indicators.

What you'll do

In this role, you will analyze spending and other key performance indicators to identify drivers for cost-saving initiatives. You will collaborate with various teams to deliver insights that influence business decisions and strategies. Your responsibilities will include preparing forecasts and conducting variance analysis to support financial planning processes. You will present your findings and recommendations to senior management, ensuring that your insights are actionable and aligned with the company's goals.

You will also be involved in tracking and reporting on key performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders on financial performance. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying trends and opportunities for improvement within the AppleCare Finance organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that financial strategies are effectively implemented and monitored.
