What you'll do

As a Senior Firmware Engineer on Apple's Imaging and Sensing Incubation team, you will be responsible for developing the complete software stack for prototype hardware systems. This includes working on the hardware abstraction layer, drivers, and middleware to ensure seamless integration with the operating system. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineering, optics, and software development, to influence hardware and algorithm design decisions.

You will engage in hands-on work in the lab, utilizing your debugging skills to bring prototype systems to life. Your role will involve building multi-sensor systems from scratch, which will play a crucial part in delivering future Apple products and features. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall engineering excellence within the team.
