Job Description

Who you are

You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for solving complex challenges — your experience in product characterization and data analysis has equipped you with the skills to tackle intricate problems in hardware performance. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with design, process, and test engineers to implement corrective actions on both new and mature products.

Your background in silicon technologies and system-on-chip (SoC) design allows you to understand the nuances of hardware impact on performance — you are adept at performing fault isolation and correlation between automated test equipment (ATE) and various hardware setups. You are ready to take on challenges that come with crafting sophisticated solutions in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for product characterization across different setups, focusing on the correlation between ATE and logic boards. You will perform data analysis to identify root causes of issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions. Your work will directly contribute to the development of next-generation processors that power Apple devices, ensuring they meet high-performance and power-efficiency standards.

You will engage in studying the impact of hardware on SoC performance, providing insights that will guide design improvements. Your ability to analyze data and communicate findings will be crucial in driving innovation within the Silicon Technologies group. You will also have the opportunity to partner with external suppliers to enhance product quality and performance.

What we offer

At Apple, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to innovation and excellence.
