Who you are
You have a BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience, showcasing your expertise in optical design and simulation software for illumination. Your proficiency in tools like LightTools and Zemax OpticStudio Non-Sequential sets you apart as a candidate who can tackle complex design challenges. You are meticulous in your attention to detail and thrive in a hands-on environment that values engineering excellence and innovation. Your strong presentation and communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams and suppliers, ensuring that design tolerances and sensitivities are well understood. You are comfortable with new technology and are a flexible problem solver, ready to drive results in a fast-paced setting.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the design, development, and qualification activities of cutting-edge display technology and products. You will serve as a focal point in managing new display technology development, driving the implementation of critical technology platforms to enhance display performance. Your responsibilities will include system modeling to assist in design and validation, working closely with a diverse and multidisciplinary group of colleagues. You will optimize system-level performance based on critical metrics and validate system designs through engineering builds and design of experiments. Your role will require you to tackle problems outside of your respective technical area, ensuring that you contribute to the overall success of the projects you are involved in.
