Job Description

Who you are

You have a BS degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience, demonstrating your expertise in designing complex communication RF systems such as Cellular and WiFi. Your deep understanding of state-of-the-art receiver architectures sets you apart, and you have a proven ability to influence and drive innovation across organizations. You possess mastery in RF line-up analysis and can develop detailed plans for modern receiver architecture. Your theoretical and practical knowledge of RF system performance metrics and impairments, including NF, non-linearity, phase noise, IQ imbalance, and DC, allows you to assess their impact on overall system performance effectively. You are well-versed in 3GPP standards, particularly focusing on RF requirements and physical layer procedures for FR1 and FR2. Proficiency in using MATLAB is one of your key skills, enabling you to model and analyze RF systems efficiently.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be a key member of Apple’s RF System Engineering team, driving the evolution of RF receiver architectures. You will collaborate closely with RF circuit design, platform architecture, and software engineering teams to define and implement innovative concepts that deliver exceptional performance and quality. Your work will involve architecting and delivering groundbreaking wireless solutions for future Apple products, ensuring that the next generation of Cellular RF Receiver architectures meets the high standards expected by millions of customers worldwide. You will have the unique opportunity to influence the design and development of core technologies that enhance the wireless experience. As you work on today’s 5G radio, you will also pioneer the path to 6G, positioning Apple at the forefront of wireless technology.
