Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and extensive experience leading products from concept to production. Your background includes guiding teams through revolutionary technological changes, and you have a proven track record of building effective cross-functional collaboration.

As a senior leader, you understand the importance of synthesizing and delivering an advanced battery roadmap while influencing continuous improvement with vendor workflows. You are skilled at managing concurrent BMS hardware development for a vast portfolio, ensuring that your teams meet Apple's exacting standards.

You leverage AI and advanced tooling to transform organizations, identifying and closing talent gaps to deepen engineering rigor. Your ability to influence component suppliers to improve their design and validation methodologies is a key asset in your leadership approach.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead and develop a sizable team of BMS hardware engineering managers and their engineers. Your focus will be on strategic leadership and organizational capability building, ensuring that your team maintains technical credibility through selective deep engagement.

You will continuously transform the organization to scale capability and impact, leveraging innovative solutions to efficiently determine root causes and apply learnings across the organization. Your responsibilities will include building strategic vendor partnerships that extend simulation and analysis capacity, as well as managing the development of BMS hardware for Apple's diverse product lineup.

You will guide your teams through complex challenges, ensuring that they are equipped to handle the demands of concurrent hardware development projects. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the Battery Engineering team.
