You have 3+ years in a QA leadership role managing a team and 7+ years of experience in a Software Quality Engineering role — you've successfully led teams to deliver high-quality releases for mobile and desktop applications. Your strong experience in testing mobile/desktop applications, cloud-based frameworks, and APIs makes you an ideal candidate for this position. You possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience. You are passionate about quality and innovation, fostering a culture of collaboration within your team.

You have a proven track record of mentoring and developing team members — you understand the importance of setting team goals, evaluating performance, and creating development plans to help your team achieve their full potential. Your communication skills allow you to effectively convey risks, progress, and solutions to all levels of the organization. You advocate for the adoption of the latest testing methodologies and tools, ensuring that high-quality standards are maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.

What you'll do

As the SDET Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of Software Development Engineers in Test, overseeing the development and maintenance of automated test cases in Swift and Python. You will manage multiple priorities and projects, ensuring that your team is aligned with the overall goals of the organization. You will act as a key liaison between the QA team and product management, engineering, and other stakeholders, driving continuous improvement in processes and tools.

You will be responsible for communicating risks and progress effectively, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged. Your role will involve advocating for quality across the software development lifecycle, driving initiatives that enhance the overall quality of the products. You will also oversee the implementation of best practices in testing methodologies, ensuring that your team is equipped with the latest tools and techniques to deliver high-quality software.
