Machine Learning Engineer • Mid-Level

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and the ability to program in C/C++ and/or Python, which allows you to effectively contribute to the development of integrated solutions for machine learning applications. Your knowledge of computer architecture fundamentals and domain expertise in hardware IP, such as ML hardware accelerators or processing units, sets you apart in this role.

With an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or at least 3 years of relevant experience, you bring a strong foundation to the team. Your experience with ML frameworks, particularly PyTorch, and your ability to optimize and deploy ML models in production environments are essential for success in this position.

What you'll do

In this role, you will explore various methods for mapping machine learning workloads to Apple silicon, developing performance models and simulations that inform architecture decisions. Your insights will help make workloads run efficiently on our SoCs, and you will communicate findings to software and algorithm teams to enhance collaboration and integration.

You will work closely with engineers across Apple, driving the development of our renowned system-on-a-chip architecture and developing forward-looking prototype systems. Your contributions will be pivotal in ensuring that our hardware and software work seamlessly together, ultimately enhancing the user experience across Apple products.
