You are a highly self-motivated engineer with a strong background in machine learning and video processing. With at least 10 years of relevant industry experience, you excel in technically challenging environments and have a passion for developing innovative technologies that impact millions of users. Your expertise in signal processing and CPU architecture allows you to create efficient algorithms that perform well in resource-constrained environments. You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable working with data collection and pre-processing for training, testing, and validation of machine learning models.

You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and a PhD is preferred. Your experience includes developing machine learning algorithms and working with low-level vision technologies. You are a strong communicator, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive projects forward. What you'll do

In this role, you will develop, implement, and optimize machine learning-based video processing algorithms. You will work closely with a team of engineers to create image and video core technologies that are used across Apple’s product line. Your responsibilities will include investigating the latest learning-based low-level vision technologies and tasks, as well as conducting data collection and pre-processing to ensure high-quality training and validation datasets. You will also be expected to contribute to the design and architecture of systems that leverage machine learning for video processing, ensuring that they meet performance and efficiency standards.

You will collaborate with other engineers to refine algorithms and improve their performance in real-world applications. Your work will directly impact the user experience for billions of Apple customers, making your contributions vital to the success of the company.
