You understand the intricacies of media discovery and how to leverage AI to create engaging user experiences across various platforms.
You possess strong leadership skills, having successfully managed cross-functional teams that include engineers, designers, and product managers. You are a strategic thinker who can align technical capabilities with business goals, ensuring that your team's work contributes to the overall success of the organization. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the Apple Services Engineering AI/ML organization, focusing on building next-generation media discovery experiences. You will research, design, and develop AI/ML-driven features that enhance search, browse, and recommendation functionalities across Apple's media platforms, including the App Store, Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, and Apple Books.
You will propose, prototype, and evaluate algorithm improvements that power rich discovery experiences for billions of users worldwide. Your role will involve evangelizing and building reusable AI capabilities that enhance the foundation of user-facing features within the larger organization. You will collaborate closely with scientists and engineers to create secure, end-to-end solutions that meet Apple's high performance and quality standards.
You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing your team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure that AI/ML initiatives align with business objectives and user needs, driving impactful results.
