Who you are

You have a genuine passion for embedded development and are highly proficient in C and C++. Your knowledge of hardware platforms and processor architectures allows you to tackle complex challenges in the development of next-generation Apple devices. You hold a Bachelor's degree or have equivalent experience in computer science or a related field, and you possess proven creative and critical thinking skills that enable you to troubleshoot effectively. Your ability to deliver results on tight schedules showcases your strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

You excel in collaborative environments, working seamlessly with multi-functional teams to support requirements for a wide variety of Apple products. Your experience with JTAG and other debuggers enhances your debugging capabilities, and you have a track record of writing embedded processor simulations. You understand the importance of cross-disciplinary collaboration and are eager to contribute to groundbreaking technologies across Apple’s product line.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of the Core Platform Bring-up team within Apple's CoreOS organization, where you will work on state-of-the-art technology. Your primary responsibilities will include the bring-up, verification, and debugging of new SoCs and hardware platforms. You will develop firmware, drivers, and hardware abstraction layers, driving product features and functional specifications. Your involvement in the specification for hardware platforms will be crucial in ensuring that Apple products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
