Quality Engineer • Mid-Level

Who you are

You are a creative and hands-on Quality Engineer with a passion for delivering high-quality products. You have experience in validating hardware and understand the intersection of physical and digital interactions. You are able to identify scenarios where the code functions correctly but the user experience may not meet expectations. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Firmware, Software, and Algorithms Developers, as well as Product Design and Human Factors teams. You are detail-oriented and have a strong technical background that allows you to influence design decisions effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive the validation of Apple’s next-generation MacBook trackpads and keyboards. You will architect new test cases that push firmware and logic to their limits, ensuring that the devices understand user intent perfectly. You will immerse yourself in both the physical and digital aspects of the products, spending time in the lab and at your desk. Your primary challenge will be to wear the "customer hat" and apply your technical knowledge to enhance the user experience. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of developers and industry experts, contributing to everything from early prototypes to mass production.
