Job Description
Who you are
You are an energetic and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with over 4 years of experience using industry-standard automation tools and reporting frameworks. You have a strong background in test automation and distributed systems validation, and you understand the importance of quality engineering in delivering business-critical applications. Your expertise includes establishing performance baselines and conducting capacity planning to ensure system resilience through comprehensive testing strategies. You are familiar with GenAI-driven features and have experience testing APIs and web services, leveraging GenAI for validations. You also have a basic understanding of reliability engineering concepts such as retries, backoff, SLOs, timeouts, and idempotency.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing global applications that power Appleβs service and support ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement testing strategies that enhance the quality of customer systems. Your responsibilities will include conducting load and performance testing, ensuring that applications meet high standards of reliability and efficiency. You will also work on establishing performance baselines and conducting capacity planning to prepare for future demands. Additionally, you will have opportunities to apply GenAI in end-to-end automation, contributing to innovative solutions that improve the customer support experience across millions of devices.
