You have a strong background in software engineering and testing methodologies, with experience in machine learning systems. You are skilled in Python and have a solid understanding of test automation principles. Your experience includes designing end-to-end testing flows that ensure model accuracy and reliability. You are familiar with CI/CD practices and have worked with deep learning frameworks. You thrive in collaborative environments and can effectively communicate with cross-functional teams to understand model architectures and failure modes. You are detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality software that enhances user experience.
Desirable
Experience with biometric systems or similar technologies is a plus. Familiarity with UX testing and manual testing processes will help you excel in this role. A background in data analytics and quality assurance will also be beneficial as you work to improve testing strategies.
What you'll do
As an ML Test & Automation Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of FaceID and other biometric systems. You will design and implement comprehensive testing strategies that cover model accuracy, edge case detection, and regression testing on actual devices. Your role will involve performing manual on-device UX testing to assess authentication flows and identify failure scenarios.
