Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience, particularly in equipment technology and process integration for new products. Your expertise includes Photo Lithography, Thin Film, and Etch processes, which are essential for developing advanced display panels. You have a strong background in managing TFT processes and equipment, as well as experience in silicon processes and fab operations. Your understanding of TFT device physics and flat panel displays sets you apart in this field.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams and supplier partners. Your ability to communicate technical concepts effectively allows you to bridge the gap between engineering and production. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high performance in process development, ensuring that new panel products meet Apple's high standards for quality and innovation.

What you'll do

As a Senior Panel TFT Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new panel products from concept to productivity verification. You will explore new materials and tough processes for advanced display panels, modifying the TFT stack-up and devices to enhance performance. Your role involves working closely with the Apple HQ team in California and industrial partners in Asia to ensure successful product development. You will lead efforts in process development, focusing on integrating new technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and output.

You will also be involved in the technical direction of engineering teams, guiding them through the complexities of panel development. Your responsibilities will include conducting experiments, analyzing results, and iterating on processes to achieve optimal performance.
