What you'll do
As a Streaming Media Formats Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting existing and new media formats, including video codecs, audio codecs, captions, and timed-metadata across all Apple platforms. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure the end-to-end implementation of new streaming features, contributing to the design and development of tools that enhance the content publishing workflow for Apple Services.
Your role will involve developing native reference iOS applications that showcase HLS features and best practices, as well as supporting live stream monitoring and content validation processes. You will engage in problem-solving and creative thinking to tackle the challenges associated with media formats, ensuring that Appleβs media technologies remain at the forefront of the industry.
