Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or in business and supply chain management, along with 3+ years of relevant experience in supply chain and supplier management. Your background in engineering allows you to apply your knowledge effectively in a fast-paced environment, making significant contributions to new silicon product development. You possess strong program management skills and have a proven track record in high-volume silicon NPI, demonstrating your ability to navigate complex relationships within the semiconductor industry.

Your expertise includes an in-depth understanding of the Semiconductor/Foundry business, particularly the intricacies of internal silicon design, process, packaging, and productization. You are adept at leading suppliers and ensuring the smooth ramp of sophisticated SoC devices, optimizing supply chain performance by supervising key metrics such as yield, lead time, cost, and quality. You are a strong communicator, capable of influencing and connecting with various teams to achieve results.

Desirable

Experience in fabless silicon supply chain management is a plus, as is familiarity with manufacturing flow and turnaround times for semiconductor devices. Your ability to manage factory operations, including capacity enablement and issue resolution, will be invaluable in this role. You are comfortable negotiating with suppliers and making decisions on demand creation, build priorities, and new technology adoption.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be at the center of new silicon product development, supporting NPI activities and driving decisions that impact the overall success of Apple's SoC devices. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including silicon design, process, packaging, and quality assurance, to ensure that all aspects of productization are aligned and executed efficiently. Your responsibilities will include capacity planning and allocation, as well as optimizing supply chain performance through careful monitoring of key metrics.

You will lead initiatives to adopt new technologies and manage pricing variances, leveraging worldwide foundry capabilities to Apple's advantage. Your role will require you to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned on project goals and timelines. You will also be responsible for supervising supplier relationships, ensuring that they meet Apple's high standards for quality and performance.
