You have at least 5 years of program or product management experience in software development — you've successfully driven large, multi-functional projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment across various teams. Your strong communication and organizational skills enable you to present complex ideas clearly to executive leadership, fostering collaboration and understanding.
You possess a solid understanding of software engineering principles — your technical background allows you to engage effectively with engineering teams throughout the development process, from architecture and design to implementation and validation. You thrive in environments where you can proactively identify and resolve program issues, ensuring that projects stay on track and meet their objectives.
Your ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously is a key strength — you excel at owning roadmaps, timelines, and priorities, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed. You are passionate about continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance program management processes.
You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Quality, Hardware, Privacy, and Marketing — your interpersonal skills help you build strong relationships and drive successful outcomes.
Desirable
Experience with wireless and sensor technologies would be a plus, as it aligns with the focus of the Sensing & Connectivity team. Familiarity with Apple's ecosystem, including iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS, can also enhance your effectiveness in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will drive and own all aspects of large, multi-functional efforts and feature areas within Apple's Sensing & Connectivity software engineering group. You will partner with engineering teams throughout the feature development lifecycle, ensuring that projects are well-coordinated and executed efficiently. Your responsibilities will include presenting new feature initiatives, top issues, risks, and critical achievements to executive leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment.
You will proactively identify, prioritize, and drive resolution to program issues, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged. Your role will involve owning the roadmap, priorities, and timelines for various initiatives, helping to guide the team towards successful outcomes. You will also play a key role in improving program management processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Collaboration will be a significant part of your day-to-day activities — you will work closely with Engineering, Design, Quality, Hardware, Privacy, and Marketing teams to ensure that all aspects of the projects are aligned and that the final products meet Apple's high standards of quality and innovation.
