What you'll do

As the Data Center Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the development of Apple’s data centers. This includes managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure that projects are delivered successfully. You will coordinate with various teams, including Real Estate, Legal, Design, and EH&S, to facilitate smooth project execution. Your role will involve leading multiple projects simultaneously, including equipment upgrades and modifications within live data center environments.

You will be tasked with ensuring that all construction activities comply with safety regulations and sustainability initiatives. This requires a keen understanding of environmental standards and the ability to implement best practices in energy efficiency. You will also be responsible for preparing project documentation and reports, providing updates to senior management, and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to align project goals with Apple’s overall strategy. You will also engage with external contractors and vendors, managing relationships to ensure that all work meets Apple’s quality standards. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of safety and excellence within the construction teams.
