Your experience testing on macOS and iOS mobile applications has given you a solid understanding of SQA methodologies and practices. You have led QA efforts across multi-functional projects and teams, demonstrating your ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, developers, and testers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills enable you to interact with multiple stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the testing process.

What you'll do

As a Quality & Automation Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for planning, crafting, scheduling, coordinating, and implementing tests for projects in the AppleCare On-Device channel. You will collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and testers across various teams to ensure that products meet the highest quality standards. Your role will involve developing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and driving the resolution of issues to enhance product quality.

You will also focus on improving testing practices by integrating GenAI tools into the automation process, which will streamline workflows and increase efficiency. Your hands-on development experience will be crucial as you build tools and frameworks that support quality assurance efforts. You will be expected to maintain a strong understanding of SQA methodologies and apply them effectively in your testing strategies.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will play a key role in mentoring junior team members and sharing best practices within the team. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders will be essential as you provide updates on testing progress and collaborate on project timelines. You will also be involved in analyzing testing metrics and SLAs to ensure that quality objectives are met consistently.
