Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing. Your expertise in developing automated test suites using Swift and Python allows you to effectively validate new features and ensure seamless integration across platforms. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for uncovering usability issues and edge cases that automation may miss.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with framework engineering teams and cross-functional QA teams. Your ability to communicate test results clearly and advocate for quality makes you a valuable representative of the QA team in discussions with stakeholders. You are committed to driving process improvements and enhancing the efficiency of testing practices.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites, leveraging your skills in Swift (XCT est/XCUIT est) and Python. You will also perform manual testing to identify usability issues and regressions. Your responsibilities will include crafting and implementing test plans and test cases, triaging issues, and validating fixes in a timely manner. You will contribute to the CI/CD infrastructure, improving automation reliability and refining the balance between manual validation and automated coverage.
You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand feature requirements and define test strategies that ensure high-quality releases. Your work will directly impact the quality of Apple Services, and you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards that Apple is known for.
