You have over 5 years of experience in security engineering, threat detection, or incident response — you've honed your skills in writing and tuning detections for cloud, SaaS, and endpoint environments. Your background includes a proven ability to collaborate with red teams and simulate attacks to quantify the efficacy of detection software. You are solution-oriented and thrive in a deeply collaborative environment, where your ideas can contribute to innovative security solutions.

You are familiar with the detection development lifecycle and can provide valuable feedback to enhance the processes involved. Your knowledge of industry trends and major incidents allows you to formulate new detection ideas based on the latest research. You are adept at driving requirements for security telemetry and response tools, ensuring that they meet the evolving needs of the organization.

What you'll do

As a Senior Detection Engineer at Apple, you will play a crucial role in the creation, testing, and maintenance of Apple's threat detection software.
