Who you are

You have a graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience, along with 5 years of experience with ML training frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow. Your expertise includes designing and deploying machine-learning models in production systems, and you have a strong background in handling noisy, heterogeneous, crowdsourced sensor data. You are familiar with real-time and large-scale data processing tooling such as Kafka, Flink, or Spark, and have experience with sensor networks, IoT systems, or mobile sensing. Your understanding of inertial sensing, time series analysis, and signal processing is a plus.

What you'll do

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on the crowdsourced sensing team, you will own the design, deployment, and operation of ML models that run across heterogeneous mobile and edge devices. You will build production ML systems end-to-end, including feature design, training, on-device inference, monitoring, and continuous improvement based on real-world telemetry. Your role will involve developing, deploying, and maintaining machine-learning models that operate reliably in noisy, real-world environments and at global scale. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of ML models into Apple's ecosystem, enhancing user safety and device intelligence.
