Who you are
You have over 6 years of experience in Quality Engineering, demonstrating a strong passion for testing and automation. Your background includes manual and automation planning, test writing, execution, and triage across multiple platforms. You are a critical thinker who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve results and drive quality metrics.
Your technical skills include proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Swift, C++, and Objective-C. You are familiar with databases and SQL, and you have experience with automated testing tools and Continuous Integration practices. Your ability to communicate effectively through technical writing sets you apart, allowing you to provide valuable feedback across various roles in software engineering.
What you'll do
In this role, you will contribute directly to the testing and integration of vital areas across Apple’s developer tools, such as Xcode and the Swift languages. You will be responsible for qualifying Apple’s developer tools, ensuring they meet the high standards expected by developers worldwide. Your creativity and self-motivation will be essential as you drive and invent new ways to enhance product quality.
You will collaborate closely with teams across Apple, forming relationships and influencing cross-functional efforts to improve the developer experience. Your role will involve using quality metrics to drive team goals and ensure that the tools provided to developers are reliable and effective.
