What you'll do
As a Senior/Staff Software Engineer in the Apple Services Engineering team, you will partner with various teams across Apple to develop features and functionality that enhance Kubernetes clusters. Your role will involve improving the scalability, availability, and performance of Appleβs services, ensuring they meet the demands of a global user base. You will work closely with world-class engineers to build core components of Kubernetes, focusing on controllers and infrastructure optimization.
You will engage with the upstream community to advocate for Appleβs requirements, contributing to the evolution of Kubernetes and its ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing new features, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of services. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of learning and innovation within the team.
