Silicon Validation Software Engineer • Senior

Who you are

You have a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience in silicon validation software engineering or a related field — your expertise allows you to tackle complex challenges with precision and attention to detail. A bachelor's degree is required, and your background in embedded systems and SoC architecture makes you a strong candidate for this role.

Your familiarity with board schematics and experience using test equipment and analyzers enable you to effectively debug SOC issues and coordinate tests. You understand the importance of collaboration, working closely with SiVal, firmware, architecture, and design teams to define validation plans and bring up systems.

What you'll do

As part of the SOC Silicon Validation team, you will develop software to validate high-speed IO IP blocks, ensuring that Apple products can efficiently handle the tasks that users love. You will define validation plans, bring up systems, and debug SOC issues, playing a critical role in delivering high-quality functional products to millions of customers.

You will coordinate with various teams to run tests and analyze data, contributing to the overall success of the silicon validation process. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of Apple's next-generation processors, making you an integral part of the team.
