Who you are

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and at least 4 years of professional experience in software development using Python. You excel in collaborative environments and produce high-quality software under tight deadlines, demonstrating your ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with multi-functional teams globally. Your experience includes designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs using frameworks like FastAPI, Django REST Framework, or Flask. You are proficient in data manipulation, analysis, and processing with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Polars, enabling efficient handling of large datasets and complex transformations. Additionally, you have experience with distributed computing frameworks such as PySpark, Celery, or Dask, and a solid understanding of design patterns and enterprise architecture.

Your strong analytical skills allow you to tackle complex problems, and you have a keen interest in supply chain processes. What you'll do

As a Software Engineer on the Supply Chain Innovation team at Apple, you will play a pivotal role in building end-to-end, best-in-class software solutions for Apple’s Supply Chain needs. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various internal teams to define and implement solutions that optimize Apple’s internal business processes. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. You will design and develop RESTful APIs that support various supply chain functions, ensuring they are scalable and efficient. Your role will also require you to analyze large datasets, applying your expertise in data manipulation and processing to derive insights that drive decision-making.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain analysts and product managers, to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements. You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be crucial in ensuring the success of the projects you work on.
