Who you are

You have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. With over 3 years of experience in device testing or software-based testing, you possess a deep understanding of GNSS and Cellular location technologies. Your knowledge of Python coding, along with exposure to relevant machine learning algorithms and novel generative AI techniques, positions you well to contribute to automation and analysis efforts.

You are passionate about quality assurance processes and have a track record of building automation infrastructure and automated tests. Your ability to work collaboratively within a team environment allows you to effectively contribute to the development of innovative location features that enhance user experience. You are detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results that meet customer expectations.

Desirable

Experience with wireless technologies such as WiFi and Bluetooth will be advantageous. Familiarity with data crowdsourcing systems and prototyping applications for future OS releases is a plus. You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies, and you thrive in a collaborative environment where you can share your insights and expertise with others.

What you'll do

As a Location Software Integrity Engineer at Apple, you will join the Sensing and Connectivity team, working on cutting-edge location technologies that power various Apple products. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance the reliability and robustness of proprietary systems by developing automation infrastructure and automated tests. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the location features you help build are of the highest quality.

You will engage in special projects that may involve developing data crowdsourcing systems and prototyping apps and features for future OS releases. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and performance of location technologies used in Maps Navigation, Fitness applications, and Emergency Text via Satellite, among others. You will be instrumental in crafting upcoming products that delight and inspire customers.
