What you'll do

In this role, you will contribute to the development of Apple's universal search engine, which powers search features across various products. You will design and implement systems that enable efficient retrieval on large token and embeddings-based indexes. Your responsibilities will include optimizing query throughput and collaborating with ranking engineers to enhance relevance while adhering to performance constraints. You will also work on retrieval augmented generation systems that integrate with existing search infrastructure, ensuring that the features you build significantly improve user interactions with Apple products.
