Test Automation Engineer • Mid-Level

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and 3+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or automation engineer. Your strong object-oriented programming skills, preferably in Python and Swift, enable you to design and develop robust testing frameworks that validate complex spatial experiences. You understand the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and are proficient in using Git for version control and CI/CD integration. Your experience includes identifying performance KPIs for evaluation and creating test setups to capture metrics, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

You are a highly motivated engineer with aspirations to lead automated validation initiatives and construct robust automation systems. What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with engineering teams to design and develop sophisticated automated frameworks for testing Mixed Reality interactive solutions on visionOS. You will be responsible for creating and executing automated tests that validate the functionality and reliability of Apple’s cutting-edge connectivity technologies. Your work will directly impact the user experience, ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards before reaching customers.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing insights and feedback on product design and functionality. Your role will involve analyzing test results, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance product performance. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your expertise in automation testing and fostering a collaborative team environment.
