Who you are

You have 5+ years of proven experience in software development, ideally on Apple platforms. Your strong proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C allows you to create seamless user experiences. You possess deep experience with at least one major Apple UI framework such as SwiftUI, UIKit, or AppKit, and you have a strong understanding of architectural patterns like MVVM and MVC, as well as object-oriented design principles commonly used on Apple platforms.

Your demonstrated interest or experience in AI systems, or integrating AI features into existing systems, sets you apart. You have experience building dynamic and fluid user interfaces that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. You hold a BS, MS, or PhD in software engineering or a related field, which complements your technical expertise.

What you'll do

As a Senior UI Engineer at Apple, you will be part of a cross-functional team that nurtures state-of-the-art intelligence ideas into powerful, usable features and systems. You will collaborate with talented research teams to build innovative implementations of AI research on Apple platforms. Your role will involve discussing, debating, and iterating on ideas to quickly identify what works and what doesn’t, ultimately creating the most magical user experiences.

You will be responsible for designing and developing user interfaces that are not only functional but also visually appealing. Your expertise in Swift and Objective-C will be crucial as you work on various projects that push the boundaries of user interface design. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and fostering a culture of learning within the team.
