What you'll do

As a Senior Technical Project Manager at Astranis, you will play a critical role in driving the propulsion, mechanical, and thermal engineering development across all of our programs. You will guide projects from initiation to closure, ensuring they meet objectives, stay on schedule, and remain within budget. This involves significant cross-functional collaboration and adapting to challenges throughout the project lifecycle. You will proactively identify and solve cross-discipline challenges, developing integrated schedules with measurable milestones for Mechanical, Propulsion, and Thermal subsystems. Your role will require you to track and document project progress, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.

You will work closely with engineering teams to facilitate communication and collaboration, ensuring that all project requirements are met. Your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality will be essential. You will also be responsible for reporting project status to senior management, highlighting any risks or issues that may arise and proposing solutions to mitigate them.
