Who you are
You have a strong background in avionics testing, with experience in running functional and performance tests on flight hardware and software. Your expertise includes testing PCBA’s, subsystems, and full spacecraft under various environmental conditions such as vibration, thermal vacuum, and EMI/EMC. You are skilled in troubleshooting and debugging test failures, working closely with engineering teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.
You are proficient in maintaining, troubleshooting, and calibrating test equipment and fixtures in a lab environment. Your experience with automated testing and reporting scripts enables you to efficiently execute tests and analyze results. You thrive in a collaborative environment, where you can contribute to the success of complex aerospace projects.
What you'll do
As an Avionics Test Specialist at Astranis, you will be responsible for executing automated tests and reporting scripts for functional and performance testing of spacecraft electronics. You will plan and conduct tests, ensuring that all flight hardware meets stringent quality and performance standards.
