You have a solid background in software engineering, ideally with experience in building tools that enhance developer workflows. You are comfortable working with a distributed team and can adapt to various engineering challenges. You are open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can improve the developer experience.
Desirable
Experience with CI/CD processes and automation tools is a plus. Familiarity with AI-augmented coding tools would be beneficial. You may have worked in environments that prioritize developer experience and understand the nuances of building tools for engineers.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer II on the Developer Experience team, you will be responsible for building and enhancing tools that enable engineers at Attentive to develop, test, and deliver software efficiently. You will focus on the inner-loop of development, ensuring that engineers have the best possible experience before code is merged and deployed. You will collaborate with a small, senior team of platform-minded engineers who are dedicated to improving workflows and reducing friction across the company. Your work will involve understanding the needs of engineers and translating those needs into effective tools and processes. You will also participate in discussions about the future of developer experience, contributing your insights and ideas to shape the direction of the team.
