What you'll do

In this role, you will lead critical software engineering initiatives across multiple embedded product lines, including body-worn cameras, in-car cameras, stationary cameras, drones, and emerging connected device solutions. You will define and significantly advance embedded software architectures, ensuring excellence in stability, scalability, security, and performance.

Your responsibilities will include proactively identifying technical opportunities and risks, guiding architectural decisions, and collaborating with executives and cross-functional teams. You will mentor engineers across multiple teams, driving Axon's mission-critical standards and technical excellence. Your strategic oversight will deeply influence the broader software engineering organization, shaping Axon's approach to applied artificial intelligence in connected devices.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that all products comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ordinances, empowering your colleagues to perform at their best. Your role will be pivotal in advancing Axon's mission to protect life through innovative technology solutions.
