Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in electronics sourcing and supply chain management — you've successfully built and maintained supplier networks that ensure continuity of supply and cost efficiency. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams allows you to bridge gaps and drive projects forward. You thrive in a collaborative environment where diverse perspectives are valued, and you are committed to making a positive impact through your work.
You possess a keen understanding of the product development lifecycle — you proactively engage with design engineering and product teams to anticipate their needs for new product components. Your analytical skills enable you to identify opportunities for cost reduction and risk mitigation within the supply chain. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for executing strategic projects that optimize supplier performance and product quality.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of building a robust electronics supplier network that supports Axon's mission to protect life. You will work closely with design engineering and product teams during the new product introduction (NPI) process to understand their requirements and ensure that suppliers can meet these needs. Your responsibilities will include executing detailed projects with suppliers to implement changes that enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve capacity.
You will also be tasked with anticipating and mitigating supply chain risks, ensuring that Axon can scale its operations effectively. Your role will involve analyzing supplier performance metrics and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in launching new products by managing supplier relationships and ensuring that all components meet Axon's high standards for quality and reliability.

We offer a supportive work environment where you can grow professionally while making a meaningful impact. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that contributes to public safety and justice. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement — your unique perspective could be just what we need.
