Axon is seeking a Working Student for Altium Designer Library Management to support the development team in maintaining and expanding their electronic component library. You'll gain hands-on experience with EDA tools and collaborate with engineers on component validation.

Who you are

You are currently enrolled in a technical field of study such as Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering. You possess a basic knowledge of electronics and PCB design principles, which allows you to read and understand component datasheets effectively. Familiarity with Altium Designer or other EDA tools is a plus, and while experience in technical or mechanical drawing is beneficial, training can be provided to enhance your skills. You are eager to learn and contribute to a team that values collaboration and innovation.

What you'll do

In this role, you will maintain and update schematic symbols and PCB footprints in Altium Designer, ensuring that all components meet the required design standards. You will create new components and ensure consistency, quality, and thorough documentation of library entries. Collaboration with engineers will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you will validate and test components to ensure they function as intended. Additionally, you will assist in streamlining the library structure for ease of use and scalability, contributing to the overall efficiency of the development process.
