You have extensive experience in engineering, particularly in building large-scale systems from scratch. You are adept at tackling complex problems and have a strong focus on product usability, ensuring that the systems you build are not only functional but also user-friendly. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with product managers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. You are also passionate about mentoring junior developers and sharing knowledge within your team, contributing to a culture of continuous learning.

You possess in-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and have hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Your technical expertise is complemented by your ability to optimize and tune applications for performance and scalability, ensuring that the systems you develop can handle high throughput and remain reliable under pressure.

What you'll do

In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers and data scientists to understand their requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions. You will design, develop, and deploy high-scale systems using state-of-the-art technologies, ensuring that they are reliable and efficient. Your responsibilities will include building consistent and high-throughput data services and interfaces, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues in production environments. You will also help define and enforce best practices and guidelines across the systems, contributing to the overall quality and performance of the engineering team.
