What you'll do

In this role, you will advance Bandwidth's Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms, focusing on cloud automation and configuration management. You will design scalable and resilient systems that keep pace with the company's growth, ensuring that the infrastructure can handle increasing demands. Your work will involve improving efficiency and overall system performance, as well as enhancing GitOps systems and practices to streamline operations. You will also play a crucial role in hardening the platform against security threats and resource contention, ensuring that the systems remain robust and secure. Collaborating with application teams, you will help them understand potential challenges and guide them in choosing optimal architectures. Additionally, you will contribute to the open-source community, responding to incidents that impact core platforms and participating in the Root Cause Analysis process to prevent future issues. Your innovative spirit will be encouraged as you bring new ideas and solutions to the table, making a meaningful impact on the team and the company.
