What you'll do

As a Staff Backend Engineer at Bazaarvoice, you will join the Insights Back-End team, focusing on building out the data pipeline, data store, and API layer that powers various client-facing dashboards. Your role will involve designing and implementing scalable backend services that can handle large volumes of data and provide real-time insights to clients. You will collaborate closely with product managers and other engineers to ensure that the data solutions you develop meet the needs of the business and enhance the overall user experience.

You will be responsible for evaluating and selecting the appropriate technologies to build and maintain data sets that support new product offerings. This includes optimizing existing systems and ensuring that they can scale effectively as the business grows. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them develop their skills and contribute to the team's success.
