What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer at Bazaarvoice, you will play a critical role in the development of our Data Enrichment Platform — your primary focus will be on building and optimizing Kafka-based streaming solutions that support our smart shopping experiences. You will design and implement data pipelines that process real-time consumer feedback, enabling brands to gain valuable insights and improve their offerings.

You will collaborate closely with product teams to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications — your ability to work with stakeholders will ensure that the solutions you develop align with business goals. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles.

In addition to development, you will be involved in system design discussions, contributing to architectural decisions that impact the scalability and performance of our systems. You will participate in code reviews, ensuring that best practices are followed and that the codebase remains maintainable and efficient.
