You are currently enrolled in a BS or MS degree in computer science or a related STEM field, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and Summer 2027. You have a prior software engineering internship or similar experience, showcasing your ability to tackle complex problems and iterate based on feedback. Your strong problem-solving skills enable you to approach challenges with creativity and determination. You are eager to learn and contribute to meaningful projects that have a real-world impact, particularly in the biotechnology sector.
Desirable
Experience with backend development and API design is a plus, as is familiarity with frontend technologies. You have a keen interest in biotechnology and how technology can accelerate scientific advancements. You are a collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment, ready to take ownership of projects and contribute to the success of your team.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer Intern at Benchling, you will own a project from initial design through to large-scale rollout.
